I · Why Recognition exists
The registry does not end on the day of admission. It begins.
Santaine does not exist only to issue numbers. It exists to reflect the path each Member builds afterwards. Recognition is the public face of that path: permanence, continuity, and contribution to the life of the House.
Its purpose is not to produce daily winners and losers. It is to honour those who remain, those who renew, and those who help the institution endure — without turning belonging into a sport of vanity.
II · How standing is measured
The Order is transparent.
Recognition reflects a member's long-term relationship with Santaine. Annual contributions, continuity of membership and institutional milestones all contribute to the evolution of a member's standing within the Registry.
Upon activation, a Member begins to write Standing. Standing is the sum of what has been inscribed — never reset, never sold as a product, always readable with calm.

Renewals deepen the same relationship: each confirmed annual contribution is inscribed again at this rate. The distinctions of time — five, ten, twenty, thirty years — remain the privilege of continuity alone.
III · Entering the Order
Activation opens the column.
When Membership is activated and the annual contribution is confirmed, Recognition begins at once. The Member enters the Order with the standing that follows from their contribution — and, where it applies, from the founding generation.
From that day, years of permanence and invitations that become Membership continue to write the same ledger. Prestige is not auctioned. Relationship with the House is inscribed with calm.
IV · The weight of time
Time remains one of the House’s true assets.
Each completed year of permanence deepens standing. Continuity cannot be improvised. Over decades it becomes one of the most respected qualities inside Santaine.
Early Registry Numbers carry symbolic weight as origins of the House. The distinctions of five, ten, twenty and thirty years — cards, commemorations, archive — arrive only through continuity. Contribution shapes standing; the marks of years remain the privilege of remaining.
V · Growth of the House
Those who help the House grow also shape its story.
When a Member invites another person and that person activates through an official invitation, that help is inscribed in Recognition — balanced carefully, so invitation never becomes a commercial contest.
The House recognises help that strengthens prestige. It does not reward extraction.
VI · Nothing resets
Trajectory is personal history within the institution.
Points of standing, years of Membership, and contributions to Santaine form a permanent record. The system does not wipe the slate for novelty’s sake. What has been written remains part of the Member’s legacy inside the House.
In twenty or thirty years, the first positions will no longer read as mere numbers. They will read as trust kept over time. That is the destination of Recognition — and the reason it exists.
