On this website, you are not speaking to an artificial intelligence. Intelligence may assist those who build and keep the House — never as a watcher of Members, and never as the voice that greets you here.
I · What you encounter on this site
No chatbot. No automated interlocutor.
Santaine does not deploy an artificial intelligence that chats with you, answers Membership questions in your place, or decides whether you may enter the registry. Pages, forms, and Member spaces are operated by systems under human custody — not by a conversational agent pretending to be the House.
Under European rules on AI transparency, when a system interacts directly with people as if it were a person or an autonomous agent, that fact must be clear. Santaine’s public site does not present such an interaction. If that ever changes, the House will say so plainly at the point of contact — not buried in fine print.
II · Where intelligence may assist
A steward’s tool — not the steward.
The people who build and maintain Santaine may use artificial intelligence to draft text, review code, or propose technical solutions. That assistance is subordinate to the Charter: calm, permanence, and respect for Members. Intelligence may suggest; it does not hold the keys to the registry, and it does not replace institutional judgment.
Content you read on this site is published under the responsibility of the House. Where drafts were prepared with machine help, a human steward still decides what is released. Intelligence is not invited to invent urgency, harvest attention, or treat belonging as a dataset for sale.
III · Access to Member data
The live registry is not an open feed for models.
Artificial intelligence tools used to build Santaine do not, by default, connect to the production registry or read Member accounts. They work from instructions and materials that stewards choose to share in that work — not from an automated pipe into every Membership record.
Member data exists for Membership and Recognition — not to train third-party models for purposes foreign to the House. Santaine does not sell the registry to AI providers, does not score your private life with intelligence, and does not personalise pressure through predictive systems.
Processors that operate Membership (authentication, email, payment) are described in Privacy. They are not “AI watching you”; they are the minimum services required to keep the House standing.
